What is the Beyond program?
True to our style, the lessons in this program are still meant to have a student follow along.
AND, the spirit of this course is really to take the material and make it your own!
While Weekly Art Foundations is a step by step guide, and Diving Deeper is a continuation with more in-depth guidance/curriculum content, the Beyond course gives the student tools to become their own artist.
*This course ties into parts of a Waldorf-inspired high school curriculum, and is also a perfect next step for students who have completed the Diving Deeper program.

Your Guide:
Brian Wolfe has spent his entire adult life playing music, teaching, drawing & coaching his Waldorf kids. So basically, creating a generation of grounded families with beautiful memories ;) He grew up in a musical-theater family, where he spent his childhood painting backdrops for plays & musicals, as well as playing guitar in the house-band.
Nowadays, when he's not teaching geometry, art & coaching local Waldorf students, Brian loves performing a wide range of musical styles (blues, jazz, rock, pop, etc). He has played in various blues and rock bands over the past 15 years and 8 years ago began performing as a solo, instrumental acoustic act at events such as weddings, wine tastings, gallery openings, and private parties. Brian teaches in all of our Weekly Art programs, and the G7 & G8 geometry courses.
FAQ’s:
-
Absolutely! We have many non-Waldorf & Waldorf-ish families using our program. The Weekly Art programs are more about a way of teaching (and learning) art than they are about following a specific educational pedagogy. We incorporate the best practices from everything we've encountered in our careers!
-
If your family is very new to the Waldorf-inspired arts, you may benefit from our short course Waldorf Art for Beginners and also the Weekly Art Foundations course.

“The growth mindset message you give throughout the lessons have been so helpful to us. That, and the practice of ‘art show’ are already making a difference in the words my kids use around their art. Thank you!”
