Kimchi - new original prints in the shop!
We have so much fun doing these collaborative pieces!
Check out our other recipes - all originals have SOLD. Prints available in our shop! Contact us to talk about creating a custom piece for you :)
you + us. let's gather.
It's time to gather again. We had so much fun with this last year!
Our community (that's you) brings us so much hope and encouragement, and we bring bits of your warmth and meaningful practice into our own home and learning spaces. Seeing how you do it shows us what else is possible. It's so inspiring!
We've set up a little Instagram gathering for us again. We'd like to repost your images, some here, on our Instagram, Facebook, and also on Pinterest. {our FB page is followed by parents, teachers, homeschoolers, & Waldorf schools from around the world).
Here's how it works:
1. Get an Instagram account via the Apple Store or Google Play.
2. As you move thru each day, take a photo of your ways. Your home, your hands, whatever you are holding in your heartspace. We have 31 prompts up there. Use any prompt on any day!
3. Bonus points :: let the kids take the picture!
4. Follow us, @robynwolfe and @brianwolfe. In your photo comments, tag us by typing #waldorfish, and also include the hashtag, #simpleseason (so we can find you!).
5. We'll repost some of your images and follow your stream.
That's it. Nice and simple ;) Join us!

Friday painting...
I LOVE the quiet sounds of deeply focused painting!
And yes, we are living proof that you can get it done with a variety of tools. There IS value in using the beautiful tools often associated with Waldorf education, but there is definitely something to be said for using what you have as well.
Have a gorgeous weekend!
Rooted...
This piece is the first in a new mixed media series I'm working on.
I generally don't have a specific outcome in mind when I start these pieces...for me, it's a very similar process to veil painting. It's meditative and involves lots and LOTS of layers that eventually reveal what needs to be seen. (on the left shows the first 2 layers of the finished piece.)
Part of the work that both Brian and I do is custom illustration as well as art instruction.
Give us a shout if you'd like to collaborate!
